　　Education plays a very important role in the modernization of our country. The modernization of our country calls for the modernization of education in advance. However, the development of education is by no means balanced all over the country. In some poverty-stricken areas, a surprisingly large number of school-agers cannot afford to go to school. As a result, the “Project Hope” is initiated to promote education in those areas.

　　This project, in my eyes, is necessary especially in two respects. For one thing, if children can’t gain access to education, the lack of human resources will be inevitable, and how can we hope to get rid of illiteracy and poverty? For another, at present it is beyond the ability of our government to provide enough money for so many school dropouts. The “project hope” accepts donations from organizations, enterprises and individuals, and then distributes the fund scientifically and reasonably to those in need of help.

　　My suggestion is that all of us who have the financial ability join in the Project to help those school-agers. Only when all of us extend the helping hands can we hope to modernize our education and our nation.

　　Online Education

　　Being online is no longer something strange in our life. To some degree, it has become part of our daily life. Recently another helpful online activity has become very popular. That is online education.

　　Why could online education be so popular within such a short period of time? The quick development of the internet should be an essential reason, which makes all our dreams of attending class in the distance possible. Another underlying reason is the quick development of both society and technology. Today, modern science and technology is developing with lightening speed. To catch up with this development we all feel an urgent to study. However, due to the great pace of modern society, many people are too busy to study full time at school. Online education just comes to their aid.

　　Personally, I appreciate this new form of education. It’s indeed a helpful complement to the traditional educational means. It can provide different learners with more flexible and versatile ways of learning. Most of all, with online education, we can stick to our jobs. At the same time, we can study and absorb the latest knowledge.

　　8. On Quality Education

　　The prevailing traditional way of teaching is so old-fashioned that it is far from satisfying the need of the fast development of modern society. This problem，if not solved immediately and properly, will slow down the progress of the modernization of our country. So the policy of quality education was established in order to train and bring up more qualified graduates with greater ability.

　　Quality education is of great necessity. Firstly, it lays stress on students. Initiative and creativeness help to cultivate and raise the students ability to think, analyze and solve concrete problems independently, which enables them to adapt themselves to various kinds of circumstances. Secondly, quality education emphasizes on students’ wide range of knowledge. Finally，the implementation of quality education will help to produce more and more great experts or scientists in all fields of modern science and technology.

　　I strongly suggest that not only the government but also the whole society support and promote the successful implementation of this policy so that our country can become one of the strongest and most prosperous countries in the world as early as possible.
