　　Solving the Rear Service Problem

　　Nowadays the rear service problem is even more serious. With the enlargement of college enrollment，rear service falls far behind the need. At the same time，due to its large staff and consumption，it has become an obstacle on the path of the development of universities and colleges.

　　The rear service problem is put under extreme stress mainly because of three reasons. Firstly，the working methods of the rear service establishments have been outmoded. With the number of students soaring and the inefficiency of those rear service departments，problems like food and shelter pile up. Secondly，the size of rear service is on rise，with redundancy being a common phenomenon. Statistics show that，on average，two-thirds of the total college staff are administrative personnel and workers. Finally，it costs too much to keep rear service running. And a serious waste of money and energy on rear service is always a heavy burden which delays the development of higher education. As a result，rear service becomes the target of public criticism.

　　To relieve universities and colleges of this burden-rear service，reforming in rear service system is indispensable. First of all，the rear service should be detached from colleges. And then，increased efficiency，improvement of working methods as well as a cut in redundancy are all necessary. If the reform can be well underway，it won't be long before universities and colleges getting an easy breath.
